Poetry Project

Craig brings vision and depth to his students’ writing. As he puts it, “You can’t write until you can see.” Whether poems rising off their page through expressive voices in his Poem Fusions (multi-voice poetry performances), lines of poems interwoven with color and design for his Poetry Murals, PowerPoint DigiPoems laced with family photos on the computer… It’s with his poet’s eye that Craig passes on his wonder and enthusiasm for poetry to his young poets, who will not be writing children’s or juvenile poetry, but POETRY as windows,
mirrors, doors.
